Bitdefender & Technical Team Are Crap!

I have had to resort to this method of contact as since March this year I've had a continual problem with virus and updating issues about two weeks into purchasing and installing this piece of TAT!


On numerous occassions I have been told my machine is virus free and made to feel like I'm lying, stupid and annoying all just because I I want what I paid for "The Best Security on the Market" Which I've found to my detriment Bitfender and it's Customer Service skills and staff definately are not!!!


I am still waiting since 10th October for a response from me sending in 3 logs to a "Cloud space" where apparently their Top Tier Technical Team would get sort it out.... but still no word!!!


I've tried contacting by webchat and noone ever anwers me. I've left messages and again no response


So Yes my username does exactl what it says on the tin.... whereas Bitdefender definately DOES NOT!!!


I am going to see this one through to the end out of morbid curiousity and all my experiences will be getting plastered all over any/all social network platforms and Software recommendation forums I will find .... so it's up to you Bitdefender... who do you want this story/saga to end on a public platform??

    Sorry to hear about the lack of support, maybe it will get noticed here on the forum by Tech support here. This can take a couple of days, and not hours to get to, as there is only one Tech Support mod. here, so if you can still patiently wait and see what can be resolved here would be appreciated, and hopefully with a good outcome :)

Maybe consider holding back on the criticism, as we've gotten the idea with your posts of displeasure with Bitdefender. Calling them liars is a pretty stout charge, you may want to dial it back a bit.

    I DO NOT believe them because they promise to respond 24-48 hrs, waiting weeks to month, nothing. Phone support, put on hold forever never come back. Same goes for chat and forum.


    I'm also a paying customer and want respect and support from a company. I've never see a company that is promise to respond but failed and always give the "it will resolve the next product update" but failed. I have all kind of problems. We go by the book, you should know, we are in U.S. When you send somebody an email promise to respond 24-48 hrs, you do what you say!

    Your points and devils advocate approach is very touching, admirable and extremely niave (unless you 'are' working for them or at the very least getting some form of bonus to encourage you to defend a company who are indeed Liars (due to marketing thier products as The Best on The Internet' and their 'response and issue resolvement timescales for their "ignored paying customers' of which I'm finding I am not alone in this.

    For the last 9 months, the word "it will resolve next product update" has been saying forever. Nothing's fix or resolved!! They just say that so you will wait for next update, next update....etc.(LIE). I don't believe a word they say!! What a waste of money on this JUNK!!

    Nope. I want answered and my issues resolved! I still have 140 days of apparent protection. and am I going to see what the weekday Managers will make of this situation as it is more than clear their Weekend staff obviously are unable or incapabable of dealing with Customer complaints!?!

I spent a good amount of time reading reviews on all the Security Suites out there and wound up with this mess I have today. Bitdefender 2012. If you needed any help with 2012 they said update to 2013 and it was even worse.


    The people doing those reviews must not have run the program for more time than it took to do the tests because it needs an awful lot of work just to get up to the buggy stage.


    I bought the product off of Newegg and I intend to write a review and let the rest of Neweggs customers know what I think of their product and non-existent support. 1 egg only because I can't give 0

    Exactly what i've said before. These review people need to leave this crap product called Bitdefender in their machine for couple days, then they will know exactly what this crap can do to their computer. Not just 15-20 min to do the test. 24 hr support? What a buch of lying rats.

    Perhaps if you described your problem instead of just ranting, someone might be able to help you. Care to tell us what's happening?

    I've been using BitDefender for 4+ years. No problems. I suspect the vast majority of users have had a similar experience.
