Autoscan Continuously Running While Computer Is In Use
I've noticed this many times and have read a number of threads regarding similar issues which others have had. Most of those threads were from the 2012 product, and the suggestion was to install the 2013 product to solve this issue. I am using the 2013 product. This is my first time trying BitDefender as I have been using ESET NOD32 for years. I like the idea of the autoscan feature, but in practice, it seems to be very intrusive...it does not seem to care whether or not the computer is idle. I would like to continue using the autoscan feature, but I cannot have this service running constantly like this. Aside from getting in the way of my work, it is annoying hearing my fans turned sped up all the time.
Please see the image below. These are files from a very old project which I (nor any program) have not accessed in years.
Product: BitDefender Antivirus Plus 2013
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1
Processor: Intel® Core2 Extreme CPU Q9300 @2.93GHz
RAM: 4GB

you will not get any help from Bitdefender. You buy the license, if it works for you, great. If not, you'rew screwed as they have no customer service and noone online on the forums to monitor
