Firewall Blocks Nothing

Using wifi tether from phone for internet.


Firewall settings:


Internet connection sharing - On


Block Port Scans - On


Increase log verbosity - Off


Monitor Wi-Fi connections - Off


Paranoid mode - On


Network Activity shows bytes sent and received, but no programs in the list.


Any application has access to the internet, firewall doesn't ask me about anything.

    Resolved.


    I checked windows update, & the service for it & windows defender were deleted by some spyware/virus. I ran a tool from ESET to add the services back in, uninstalled bitdefender with the tool, ran all the windows updates I was missing, installed bitdefender again, and it seems to be functioning.
