Unknown Exception During Installation
During the installation of BitDefender Security Software , an error message 'The exception Unknown software exception (0xc0000417 ) occurred in the application at location (0xda9e1960 ) ' repeatedly occurred. If it is my PC problem, pl help me to resolve this error. I already have removed all the existing other virus protection softwares which is mandatory for this. So currently i do not have any protection for my PC. So please help on URGENT basis. In fact, removing other Anti-virus installation should be done automatically by BITDEFENDER only after successful installation.

Hello,
Rest assured the fix is already implemented in the full kit for offline installation. Please delete all the previous Bitdefender kits/tools from your PC and run the uninstall tool from this location:
http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Knowledge...installTool.exe
It will remove the traces from the failed installation.
Then, restart the PC, save the corresponding full kit you want to install and run it to begin the installation.
