[solved] License Is Invalid All Of A Sudden
my Bitdefender shows the key is active however fails on my computer telling that the key is invalid .Please help

Me too. And my next door neighbour. Invalid Key message for keys that are definitely valid. What gives? Anyone know? Cheers.

It was fully functional for 2 weeks, now all of a sudden it says that my bitdefender antivirus plus license is invalid,
i called the dealer and he said that the problem is not in their hands, they say that its a server problem.
And the Bitdefender toll free support(in picture) is not taking the call
I dont know what to do
I bought it online, through ebay india,

I had a similar problem when I installed BDIS until I fiddled around with it for a bit. All has been GTG since. Sorry I don't remember which fiddle I used.0 -

Yes, this last couple of days there have been quite a number of reports of invalid keys, a lot more than usual. Something going on but we have to allow Bitdefender to get it sorted.0 -
There are a lot of similar posts today, something is obviously wrong at the Bitdefender end.
You can raise an email/support ticket and send them the details , or wait for Georgia to deal wi the problem here on the forum.0 -

To address the issue please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray -near the clock- and choose 'Update Now'.
Wait 1 minute to complete the process, then update again Bitdefender 6 more times this way. After 6 update cycles, restart the computer and the Bitdefender key will be re-validated.

Yesterday this has happened to me.
Since I had created Ticket and got no response from support team, I have reinstalled cleanly whole Bitdefender . It is huge disaapointment to me, because since 10 months I have bought BitDefender Internet Security 2013 I had to reinstall it cleanly three times.
Today I have found this thread, because after clean reinstall yesterday today my licence is expired, besides on the web page I have 64 days left.
I don't know if level of protection provided by Bitdefender is worth of this hassle. I have a valid licence, and my program displays: you are not protected.
I am very, very dissapointed with this piece of software.0 -

Most of "invalid key " problem seem to be from India , any licensing issues ? Since premium service is not available ,Please inform all your subscribers through Email , regarding the validity of key or this may be a huge dent in your reputation

I will not buy BD again. I was using mcafee for so many years but tried BD this time. Within 6 months Invalid license issue had come up causing confusion and waste of my time talking with the seller. Now I have to tell the seller that key is not fake and is working. " />0 -

The issue was caused by a temporary downtime of one of the Bitdefender registration servers and everything should be back to normal now.
