Activate Product/registration/mybitdefender Help Please
I am new to Bitdefender and this forum. I have searched the posts and noticed that Christian is on a lot of the registration resolution ones. I tried sending a PM. I am not really sure if I initiated it correctly but I received an error stating "This message can not be sent because the recipient has their personal messenger disabled or they are in a member group not allowed to use the personal messenger. This personal message has not been sent". So as my trial countdown continues, I figured I would post for help.
Here is the problem I am encountering. I purchased a box copy of a 3 PC 1 year licence of Bitdefender Internet Security 2013. I installed the disc on my laptop while not connected to the internet. When I was asked to enter the registration key, since I was not connected to the internet, I selected the trial version. When I did connect to the internet, I clicked on the 30 days left link at the bottom of the dashboard and entered the Registration Key listed on the back of the CD sleeve into the Licence Key field and clicked Register Now. I received an error saying to enter it again so I entered it again and then I received a message stating that "The licence key entered is currently used in the product. You cannot register the product twice with the same key."
I then tried to create an account through the MyBitdefender drop down "Account Settings" option at the top of the window in the dashboard and received an error stating "Your internet connection has timed out causing the authentication to fail. Please submit your information again." I tried several times and received the same error. I believe I had an internet connection because I was able to access various internet sites. I went to the bitdefender.com site and created a Mybitdefender account there and registered by licence but when I went back to try to enter my new account information through the dashboard again I received the same Internet timeout error.
I sent through an email ticket but it has been over 24 hours and have not received a confirmation or reply. So then I created a forum account so that I could send a PM to ask for help but received the above noted error. Now, here I am asking for help please.

I am having this same issue.
My PC is connected to the Internet. Bitdefender will not allow me to register my product using my key and I cannot sign into MyBitdefender. I get the error, "Your internet connection has timed out causing the authentication to fail".
WHat is going on? I have been emailing Bitdefender tech support on we are on about our 4 email with no success.0
