Automatic Updates Disabled

This was an issue that I had with my 2013 version of Bitdefender, and have recently updated to Bitdefender 2014 to see that the issue still remains, even though I was informed that updating would remove the issue entirely. That being said, the issue is still present.


I have tried multiple times to switch the "Auto Update" tab to on, but each time, I am met with a prompt asking for a password, as seen in the attached image. I am not sure why this is, as I have never set a password, on this new version OR on the prior version I had, which as I mentioned also did the same thing.


If there is anymore information needed, please let me know.

    For some reason the changes made to your settings are now password protected. You need to contact Bitdefender via e-mail to sort this out as there is no way to bypass it and get the settings sorted out (without knowing the password).

    Thanks for the response, I have sent them an e-mail; hoping to hear back from them soon.
