Installation Error "cant Start Service"



We already have bitdefender total security installed on several pc at the office and home without any problem. This morning I'm trying to install it on a new pc, and after the installation, I have this error saying that bitdefender service can't start, restart PC and if it persist, contact support. I tried to reinstalled 3-4 times, same result. I tried to install in safe mode, same.

The computer is windows 7 64 bit.

Windows defender is off; no other antivirus are installed.

I tried to disable security service as stated in another post for windows 8.


  • I may add that this error occur right after the install finish, just before the software ask for the registration.

    what do you mean ''only my bitdefender product'' ?
