Bitdefender Total Security 2015 Repair Errors
I had Bitdefender Total Security 2015 installed on my Pc, and recently I could not enable realtime protection. So I tried to repair it, but the installation hanged for about an hour on 25%, so I decided to restart my Pc. When I tried again after the restart it stopped on 50% and gave me this error:
I tried restarting and everything I can think of, but got no results. If anyone knows what I can do please help me ASAP.

Run the uninstall tool in case something has become corrupted then download and install your BD version again0 -

Both links are to the same thread but no worries I found the uninstall tool. Attempting to remove and re-install. Will post here with results.0 -

Welcome to the Bitdefender forums.
The error code 0xc0000417 means that an invalid parameter was passed to a C runtime function.
You should be able to fix that by using System File Checker for corrupt Windows files:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
If the error persists afterwards reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 Service Pack 1 for 32 & 64 bit applications.
Now, please try again to install Bitdefender 2015, let us know if it works.0
