Settings Apparently Not Saved

Hello,
I'm having an issue with BitDefender Total Security 2015.
For the past three weeks or so I've gotten a bad security report saying I should have Active Virus Control on.
Well I turn it on, set it to normal and but after I close BitDefender and open it again the setting is lost. (Please refer to the attached file)
I've noticed the same issue with Intrusion Detection settings.
Am I missing something?
I've did a bit of googling around and couldn't find a solution or a similar thread on the forums.
Please help.

Get the database update regularly and restart your PC.
After that if you still find the same problem, please re-install Bitdefender software.0
