Can't Install A Different Bitdefender Version
Hello,
I'm currently using the "Internet security 2016 not for resale" version and wish to change it into the extended trial total security:

However, even after uninstalling the current version, restarting, and installing the file I am given from the email, and keeps giving me the "Internet security 2016 not for resale" version.
What can I do about it?
Thank you.

Hiya,
Please make sure you have fully uninstalled the BDIS version using the BD Uninstall program found here - http://www.bitdefender.com/site/view/unins...umer_trial.html If you didn't use that program, run it again.
Go to Windows Control Panel>Programs and Features and make sure the Bitdefender Agent is also uninstalled, if it isn't do so from there. I suspect if the BD Agent is not uninstalled then Central will detect the old one.
Now install BD TS.

Did not work... uninstalled with the tool your provided, Bitdefender agent was uninstalled as well, but after installing the extended trial version (total security), what appeared was the internet security version.

BitDefender seems to have major issues installing new versions. I wonder is this why they are offering a paid installation service. I don't know of any other security programme provider who offers such a service.
A subscriber should be easily able to install a programme they have purchased without the installation being so difficult as to have the manufacturer offer to install it for a fee.

Agreed. This is preposterous.
