Configuring Safepay to Work Again
Hi,
Safepay in Bitdefender 2016, used to recognise a number of banking websites and offer to open them for me. This no longer happens for me with Safepay 2017. I cannot find anyway of configuring it so that it does so again and have to invoke in manually from the Bitdefender application - am I mssing something or is Safepay?
Ideally I'd like to be able to idetify new sites with which I would prefer it to be used.
NB: I'm using Firefox 49.0.2 on Windows 10.
Kind regards, Stefan

Hello, what websites did work in 2016 and now they do not work in 2017?
Thank you for your time.0 -
Certainly, www.barclays.co.uk and personal.natwest.com used to, and I think www.barclaycard.co.uk did too along with a number of other related sites for validating debit and credi card details (at least from the earlier mentioned banks).
None of these do now (for me at least) and I can find no way of explicity causing them to be picked up by Safepay. Whilst I know I can manually invoke Safwpay and then use these websites I feel something has been lost.Having had a play with other banking sites, I can't find one that works.
Kind regards, Stefan

Hi,
Has anyone had any success in getting Safepay to intercede on the request to open any banking site and offer to open it securely? If so, please let me know which site so I can see if I have an installation issue with my product.
Cheers, Stefan0 -
Same problem here. On several installations with BD2017 Antivirus Plus, Safepay is not opening for any known bank in the Netherlands or Germany. I did an uninstall and compete reinstall of BD but no luck I only can work in Safepay mode when I manualy open Safepay. No autorun nor advise to start Safepay in a Windows-message.0 -
Hello,
If you are running Windows 10 please ensure you have all of your toast notifications enabled.

Hi, Notifications for BD are enabled. But it is not only notifications that are not shown. When I configure Safepay to open automaticaly when I open a bank-site in my browser, nothing heppens to Safepay. It is not starting. It is not only in my configuration but on several BD configurations where I installed BD2017.0 -

Hi,
I don't see any notifications under Action Centre. Neither as my normal user nor as my administrator user.
Kind regards, Stefan
PS: The problem still exists - the only way I can use SafePay is by manually invoking it from the main Bitdefender application.0 -
Created a ticket yesterday about this issue. I did not receive any confirmation or reaction until now I will keep you informed if I hear from BD.0 -

Hi Sorin
Picking some at random and some which I might like to use, these don't work:
Santander https://retail.santander.co.uk/LOGSUK_NS_ENS/BtoChannelDriver.ssobto?
Halifax https://www.halifax-online.co.uk/personal/logon/login.jsp
Nationwide https://onlinebanking.nationwide.co.uk/AccessManagement/Login
Barclays www.barclays.co.uk/PersonalBanking
NatWest http://personal.natwest.com/personal.html
BarclayCard https://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal
Lloyds https://online.lloydsbank.co.uk/personal/logon/login.jsp?
I have gone as far as to select the login option (that seems to be the place indicated by the above URIs) and at no stage does SafePay take control.
Could you provide one that DOES work so that I can check if it does for me, please?
Kind regards, Stefan

Hi Sorin,
I created the ticket from within the BD application (contact support). The related e-mail addres is (benny <at> bp - web.nl.
I just found what the issue is. Like many users in the Netherlands I had to switch off SSL-scanning because there is a problem (error 302) with SSL-scanning and a very important and common used website in the Netherlands (https://www.digid.nl/). It is not only related to BD but also to Avast, Superfish and Kaspersky. DigiD is advising to turn off SSL scanning (https://www.digid.nl/vraag-en-antwoord/ik-krijg-na-inloggen-met-digid-foutmelding-302-te-zien-wat-moet-ik-nu-doen/)
With SSL scanning turned off Safepay is not working. When I turn SSL scanning on again, Safepay is working okay.
Please your advise.
Regards,

Thanks BP-Web.
SSL Scanning is (and has been) enabled on my installation of Bitdefender and yet, for me, Safepay is not working so maybe my issue is different (or there's something else interfering with SSL Scanning).
Kind regards, Stefan0
