Temporarily disable Bitdefender or whitelist websites/applications

Is there any way to temporarily disable BDIS17? I want to install a program I know for a fact to be absolutely clean, but is misidentified as infected. Alternatively I would like to be able to whitelist certain websites or apps, so to allow me to do what I want to.

    Hello,

I'm also very interested about this possibility (with BDTS17).

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

At this time there is no ON/OFF switch for the product. However a feature request has been made to our dev team.

You can disable the product by going to each module and turning it off. Below you will find the location of the main protection modules.

Bitdefender > Protection > View Modules > Antivirus

Bitdefender > Protection > View Modules > Firewall
