Offline Wallet still working in background

Hi, I noticed that even when I turn off the Wallet system/service, it still keeps working in background. Is it working as intended or it is a bug?
I know the memory consume is very low, but yes, the curiosity is killing me. 
PS. I didn't install BD Wallet browser addons.
