Safepay Open And Closes Itself In Seconds

I just installed BD Total Security 2013 30 days trial, and I'm unable to use Safepay on my Win7 64 since every time I open this application it stays open for some seconds then goes back to my desktop. I can see that a a process sill remain loaded on memory, but it's impossible to switch back. If I try to open again Safepay: same behavior...

I found this problems well described in this thread: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...5&hl=closes where someone mentioned a future release that will solve this problem, but it was on 2012...

I'm currently an Avira customer considering to switch to BD but for me it's essential a solution that really protect home banking session.

Kind regards

Marco

It seems there is another program that switches back to the default desktop, since Safepay is not crashing.

We have encountered this with Yahoo! toolbar for Internet Explorer, which switches - without warning or user action - back to default desktop sometimes between 2-20 seconds.

(Yahoo seems to have this fixed since the last toolbar version).

Can you confirm us if this is the case? Anyways, we would like to know more about your environment (OS version, other processes running ... anything you can think of).

Or, if you can spend 1-2 minutes to help us with this, you can try to close all programs and retry to open Safepay and see if this behavior still manifests.

Let's see if we can figure this out. If not, we can escalate this to support to enable extensive logging to see more additional informations.

  • I have this same problem. I suspect it could be a newly added monitor connected with HDMI to USB converter with download.
