Should protection status be "at risk" when having outdated software?

Options

In Bitdefender Central you can see the security scan report from your device. But I noticed that the protection status stays on "Protected" instead of "at risk" when having an outdated software version.

I don't think this should be. Am I wrong? Or has someone else experienced this too?
