Windows 10 Error Code 9

Turned on my PC this morning after working fine yesterday. Starting VPN gives me Error Code 9, tried different countries and the same. I've followed the Bitdefender article on changing DNS servers, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, restarting the laptop and flushing my dns settings, all to no avail. Ive reset all my internet connections, wireless mesh etc with no luck. Then I tried my mobile phone running android and connecting directly to my provider, the VPN software on my phone also doesnt work. Logged into my account to check its all still valid and no problems. Is there a current known issue with Bitdefender VPN?
