Firestick looses connection with home network when active
I have installed IPTV on a Firestick4k max. I also have Bitdefender VPN running. Problem is when I have the VPN running I can't connect to my home network. The reason I need to connect is so I can record my tv shows. Recording on a firestick is futile because it has not enough space. I tried recording to a USB which works but has size limitations due to it has to be formatted as Fat32. I have many shows that end up larger than the max Fat32 size so I miss out on the end of my shows. So I have an option to connect to my home server via SMB. With Bitdefender off I can see my network folders and can select the location but once I activate Bitdefender VPN I loose all connectivity. I have tried Split tunneling but that doesn't work. Is there a work around that I am missing? Thank you for any advice you can share with this old man.
