Using groups/policies sensibly
Having decided to spend some time improving our protection (hence the flurry of questions) I think I'm getting close to where I want to be.
Is is possible to use groups to remove some endpoints from being reported on ?
I have split our estate into "in use" and "not yet deployed" endpoints. The undeployed ones are in a lockroom safe. The idea is when they are issued (connect to the internet etc) they'll update the endpoint etc. Until then they won't report, or will show as very out of date.
So I need a policy, or a way to tell GravityZone that endpoints in this group can be ignored.

Yes, you can use groups to remove some endpoints from being reported on in Bitdefender GravityZone. Here are the steps:
1) Go to the Network page.
2) In the left-side pane, select the Custom Groups folder.
3) Right-click on the group that you want to exclude from reporting and select Properties.
4) In the Properties dialog box, uncheck the Include in reports checkbox.
5) Click OK.
The endpoints in this group will no longer be included in reports.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
1) Endpoints that are excluded from reporting will still be protected by Bitdefender.
2) Excluded endpoints will still be displayed in the Network Inventory, but they will have a red exclamation mark next to them.
3) You can exclude endpoints from reporting at any time.
4) To include an endpoint in reporting again, simply go back to its properties and check the Include in reports checkbox.

Unless I am being very thick, there is no "custom groups" folder. And right clicking on my "Undeployed endpoints" group just brings up "Assign policy" ?
