Specific remote address through firewall
Hello,
according to Firewall settings, I have to create a rule to allow remote IP address to reach the machine. The rule for "All Apps + Any Network" works fine but I want to restrict the access to a specific remote IP address. Once I set it in Custom Remote Address, the incoming connection stop working. If I understood correctly, the Custom Local Address specify a process running in the same machine in case it tries to send packed to another local process? That can stay disable. So I fill the Custom Remote Address IP with the remote IP I want to grant access. I leave the port blank since for remote address I guess doesn't make sense to specify port. Once I specify the remote address the access is blocked.
Regards

Hello @hevent_orizon,
I think a screenshot would be required for us to better understand exactly how the rules are set. But in my opinion, the best way to move forward is to open a ticket for the Support teams to advise and attach the screenshot there, indicating how the current rules are set. They will be able to provide further guidance. You can reach the Bitdefender engineers at the link below:

Choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them. Let us know how it goes and if you do find a solution for this, kindly share it with us as well.
Thanks,

I attached the screenshots. Supposing the remote IP is 1.2.3.4, if I leave Advanced Settings disable then it can connect. Once I specify it in remote address, it cannot reach the current machine anymore. Since this is the only difference between working and non-working, I suppose the answer is in BD settings. Anything else, router port forwarding, user account, file system access is fine.
