Dell Bios 1.21.1 update fail
I am getting a popup from Bitdefender when this tries to install. DBUtilDrv.32.sys is identified as "potentially unwanted", and does not install. Current BIOS is 1.20.1
Command update history shows this: Dell Precision 3450 System BIOS - 1.21.1 - 48.76 MB - Critical - Unable to install
System and applications are otherwise current. This is the first time I have had any issue with Windows or Dell updates since Win11.

Hi @808beachbum
Welcome :) I take it you've seen this thread, maybe try what I just posted.
Kind regards,

I would recommend the F12 Flash Update method to bypass Bitdefender, Windows, and all other apps. It is the safest way to update a Dell BIOS and is recommended at the Dell Forums by their leading Forum Expert, @RoHe .

Have a great day.

If possible, kindly share the serial number and product ID of your Dell laptop, and I will provide you with the exact BIOS firmware that you can update. Additionally, before providing you with the BIOS file, I will share the VirusTotal results with you.

Mahalo to everyone for reading and providing suggestions. Turns out, Dell apparently fixed the issue, and 1.21.1 installed after a new prompt from Command Update tonight. I am making note of the F-12 flash install for future issues however.
