Bitdefender not starting automatically on Nokia G42 5G Android phone
hi all,
I have a Nokia G42 5G phone that has been running Bitdefender Mobile happily for months
I have just purchased the same type of phone for my wife and installed Bitdefender. All appears to be working OK except that it needs starting manually every time Android starts. I've just tried uninstall/reinstall but still the same problem.
Both devices show up as protected in Bitdefender Central although they strangely show as the phone type rather than the phone name we chose when setting up the phones.
Anyone have any tips?

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through, I would suggest trying the advise from the link below for your reference, and scroll until the Nokia tab and try to see if that helps resolve your issue and make sure that the Bitdefender Security app is not in the battery power saving mode. Do monitor it for a day or two to see if the issue is resolved or not.

Thanks very much for your message, good of you to take the time.
I've gone through these power saver settings and all is in order. The issue is that BD is not starting up with Android, once it's started manually all works as it should and it runs happily until the phone is switched off. The funny thing is that we have an identical phone which works fine
