Is it still recommended to turn off Windows core isolation / memory integrity with bitdefender?
Running base “Internet Security” and enjoying it so far but I have a concern. I see I can turn on memory integrity. Posts from a year ago mention not being able to switch on memory integrity with bitdefender. They also mention it not being advised to use with Bitdefender. Has that changed in the last year? I was also wondering how I am protected with memory integrity off in windows. Thank you!

So, I did a bit of research on this topic and based on my findings, in most cases it's advisable to leave these features enabled for enhanced security unless you experience a specific conflict. Bitdefender should work well with them active. I think you might consider turning it off only if you notice driver compatibility issues, as some older or non-compliant drivers may not work with Memory Integrity enabled.
Like you noticed from previous posts, Bitdefender used to experience some compatibility issues with these features, but it has since improved support for Windows security mechanisms like Memory Integrity.
Bottom line is, unless you're facing performance issues, system crashes, or specific application problems, you shouldn't need to disable these features.I hope this helps.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about this topic. Although I'm not sure why this it should not being advised - I suppose whoever said that considered possible interferences at a driver level, probably - I don't know exact details. Maybe someone other colleague knowing more can step up and offer more detail.
