Bd 2011 Antivirus Installation

I downloaded BD 2011 Antivirus yesterday and it uninstalled my previous version of BD (2009) and now the installation process is causing my computer to freeze every time now while the installation is configuring. It was able to uninstall the previous version, even ran a quick scan of my system, but then it asked me to reboot, which I did, and when right after I log into Windows XP the program begins automatically configuring but freezes on that screen every time so I can't do anything else. Help! What can I do?

    Please complete the following steps and send me the logs generated at the end of these steps as listed below:


    1. Download THIS file


    2. Locate and open 'Sysdump.exe'


    3. A command prompt window will appear on your screen. Please note that the information gathering process can take several minutes therefore please wait until the window disappear by itself.


    4. The result will be the file called 'SYSDUMP.TAR'


    When you have the sysdump.tar please upload it HERE. I will analyze the logs and provide you with an answer in the shortest time possible. Also please enclose your Operating System and check to see if you meet the minimum / recommended System requirements. You can see the requirements below:

  • Thanks for getting back to me. How do I go about downloading that file when my computer won't even get passed the welcome/log-in screen? I don't imagine it being a problem with my system not meeting the requirements to run the program, as I have used a previous version of BD. Let me know. Thanks.

  • I downloaded the file, executed it, but the window just ended up closing as soon as the process finished. I didn't see any file to save or anyway to recover it. It just automatically closes once it's done running without allowing me to do anything. What now?

  • The black window indeed will close on its own. You need to locate the results of the tool, an archive file called "Sysdump.tar". It should be located either on your Desktop or in the same folder where you have saved Sysdump.exe
