Squeezebox Not Able To Connect
Logitech's Squeezebox Server is not on the whitelist and I can't connect the unit to my PC with BD Internet Security Running. What firewall settings do I need to set up in order to enable access?

Perhaps this Logitech troubleshooting article will help. It lists the specific ports that need to be unblocked.
This Logitech article may also be helpful even though it does not specifically list BitDefender.

Thank you. This is helpful but I can't get BD configured properly. Can someone post a walkthrough to applying these settings perhaps?

Hi,
Try to add the following ports into BitDefender and let me know if the issue is resolved:
* Name: Squeezebox Server Discovery - Port number: 3483 - Protocol: UDP
* Name: Squeezebox Server Control - Port number: 3483 - Protocol: TCP
* Name: Squeezebox Server Web - Port Number: 9000 - Protocol: TCP
- open BitDefender Security Center
- switch to "Expert View" from the "Options" button
- go to "Firewall" tab
- go to "Programs" tab
- click on the "Add Rule" button
- in the new window select under "Basic" tab the following:
a) Apply rule to all programs
Program Parameters: Any
c) Protocol: Any
d) Events: Listen, Traffic, Connect
e) Network Type: Trusted (Allow All), Home/Office, Public
f) Permission: Allow
- go to the "Advanced" tab and set:
a) Direction: Both
IP Version: Any
c) Local address: IP -> Any
Port(s) -> port to be added
d) Remote Address: IP -> Any
e) Port(s) -> port to be added
Note that you need to uncheck the box next to each Port field to be able to add the port you wish to allow.
Please let me know if the issue still persist.
Also disable the Firewall module for 5 minutes and see if the issue still occur.0
