how do i know what version of bit defender i installed? i want to know if its 32bit or 64bit.


and dose it matter if i installed the 32bit on a 64bit OS?

    Hello darknothing,


    You probably used the automated installer. If you have a 64bit O.S. then you have a BitDefender 64bit version, otherwise it wouldn't have installed properly (attached is the error message you would have received with a 32bit install kit)

    True, there is no reference to the 64bit version when running BitDefender 2011 on Windows 7 64bit. Still, you will find all 64bit native software in the X:\Program Files\ directory (where "X" is the main Windows partition, usually C:\)


    P.S. I recently stepped towards Windows 7 x64bit.. impressive :)
