10 hours ago, dch48 said: Still happening in 1.0.9.59. It doesn't show an event so I can't say what the servers are. I'm using Ublock origin and it's able to update with no problem. Why not try that adblocker ?

According to what you posted about the "Auto-scan" feature being on by default, and version "1.0.21.1109", you have the older version of Bitdefender Free installed. Try uninstalling that version and update to the latest version of Bitdefender and check the new and improved protection features and make a decision then. And…

Well, you run it in autolearn mode until the program who wasn't operating properly, starts working as it should. I tested it at one point but found it as non flexible for me to use it for reasons same as you encountered with Bitdefender Free. Basically, when something wasn't working right, I had to put it in autolearn, so…

As fas as I can remember, TinyWall has autolearn mode, which would allow access to all bitdefender executables requiring it. Try it , should work.

Active Threat Control is included, along with on-access scanning and web protection feature. Read Bitdefender Free User Guide (available to download in PDF) from the first post in this forum.

Free version doesn't have active ransomware protection module, but I'm sure it can still protect against known variants of ransomware through it's on-access scanning and Active Threat Control features.

You just have to select either 32bit or 64 bit version for your pc.

I'm using it on Windows 8.1 64bit and it works perfectly. Very light on the system and powerful AV at the same time.

I assume you have autopilot set to off, that's why you are getting notifications when ports are scanned. Turning it on would be the easiest way of not getting notifications. Hope it helps

Hello all, There is an automatic mechanism for that, even if you turn off the Wallet feature. A explanation could be provided by the developers who wrote this feature. I am forwarding your requests to our developers and will post back their response as soon as I receive it. Thanks! Thanks for escalating this issue to the…

Bitdefender team? Hello? Your users are asking question here about wallet processes running although they are disabled in the UI. Answer please?

+1 There is no logic in having option to turn off services that you don't use but they're still running in the background .. This has to be a bug and it needs to be fixed.

Forwarded to test team to reproduce. Maybe you hit a bug we overlooked, I suppose. We'll get back after investigation. Until then, you may edit the bookmark and enter a shorter name, if that helps. Regards, Cristian Thanks Cristian, that's exactly what I did, using shorter name for bookmarked websites gets everything back…

I do have both scroll-bars and both work ok .. but the window icon of bookmarked sites that have long names gets expanded when bookmarked compared to other window icons of bookmarked…
