Final version of V11 will be released soon, at the end of August.

http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=1378 command line for scanning in safe mode. It could work in normal mode also.
-
It happened in the past, it`s not strange. Maybe Vlad will add some info.
-
As far as i know, Plus version will not be available so a proper upgrade will be: from BD 10 plus to BD 11 IS, and from BD 10 IS to BD 11 TS. And for standard will be a normal upgrade.
-
I`m not using BD firewall but you can try to add you FTP server ip to trusted zone(if the firewall has a trusted zone).
-
By the way, the settings are in the same place as yours.. The settings are in the same place
-
Also you can get it from here: Bitdefender pro v9
-
You should upload the file here. Have a look here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=84 to see what you have to do.
-
Then upload the files here(i hope you can) and wait for VR`s to download them and remove the detection if they are clean.
-
If you consider that those files are clean, you should upload them here: http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html and they will be scanned by a number of AV engines.

I do not know why i had the impression that you use Thunderbird and Gmail. My bad
-
Gmail use SSL connection. If you create an account in Thunderbird for Gmail you will have to use 995(SSL connection) for pop3 server and 587(TSL) connection for SMTP. You will receive e-mails trough 995 port (SSL).
