Total Security Installation endet nach Download-Datei
Hallo zusammen,
ich habe ein neuen Abo für das Total security. Das Abo ist auch aktiviert.
Nach dem Download der Datei kommt noch die Frage ob Bitdefender ändern darf, dann passiert nichts mehr. Browser habe ich auch schon gewechselt, hat aber keine Veränderung gebracht.
Bitdefender installiert sich nicht…. Wer weiss Abhilfe?

1) Uninstall the Bitdefender product using the Add/Remove Programs option in Windows.
2) To remove any remaining files, download and run the Bitdefender product uninstaller from this link: https://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/Bitdefender_2023_Uninstall_Tool.exe
3) Open the Run command and execute the following commands one by one:
temp - delete all the files in the folder
%temp% - delete all the files in the folder
prefetch - delete all the files in the folder
4) Remove devices from your online Bitdefender Central:
5) Install your Bitdefender product:

Select, How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products→Troubleshooting→I don't know→Contact Support→ You will get the option of chat, call or email.

Datei herunterladen und ausführen.
Ist Bitdefender schon installiert oder wäre es eine neue installation?

Die Vorgängerversion ist installiert.
Normalerweise prüft Bitdefender das System, stellt fest das schon eine Version drauf ist, deinstalliert diese und installiert die Neue.
Nun kommt aber nach dem Download nur ein Fenster mit der Frage ob Bitdefender was ändern darf und dann passiert nichts mehr.

Dann mal bitte folgendes machen:
- Downloade bitte die aktuelle Version der gekauften Lizenz über Central.
- Downloade bitte das passende Deinstallations-Tool für die aktuell installierte Version: https://www.bitdefender.de/links/uninstall_consumer_paid.html
- Führe das Deinstallations-Tool aus und starte danach das System neu
- Führe dann den in Punkt 1 heruntergeladenen Installer für die neue Version aus

If the installation window disappears without error, please log on the computer using an Administrator account, then try again to install Bitdefender. Also check for other security solutions and uninstall them. Then restart your computer and try again to install Bitdefender.

Please download the latest version of the purchased license via Central.
Even downloading the setup file directly from Bitdefender Online Central does not guarantee the availability of the latest version of the Bitdefender product, as Bitdefender releases the latest products in batches and not to everyone at the same time.
Please download the appropriate uninstallation tool for the currently installed version: https://www.bitdefender.de/links/uninstall_consumer_paid.html
While Bitdefender provides both free and paid uninstallers, the latest version of the uninstaller for Bitdefender Total Security, under the paid version, removes all Bitdefender products—whether free, paid, old, or the latest version. So, one uninstaller handles the job of all the others.
Run the uninstall tool and then restart the system
Bitdefender support recommends using the standalone Bitdefender uninstaller tool in Safe Mode, as it removes files more effectively than in General Mode, where some files might still be in use. Safe Mode loads only essential drivers, but some folders and registry entries may still require manual deletion.
