system has slowed
I installed Bitdefender a month or so ago and I've noticed my internet and/or computer is slower. Is there a way to turn off Bitdefender, rather than uninstalling it, so I can test to see if Bitdefender is the cause?
Thank you

Here is a article that will show you how to "disable" Bitdefender….up to a point. It's not going to totally suspend its processes, as can be tracked with Task Manager open while you disable modules.
As far as the internet and possible slight hesitation of webpages loading, is because Bitdefender uses its installed certificate to verify webpage certificates as part of its Online Threat Prevention. You can disable that, OTP for a bit to confirm your web, internet searches…but don't forget to re-enable it. That setting will be seen in the above article.
Be sure to run a Windows Disk Cleanup, Defrag and Optimize Drives and Bitdefender OneClick Optimizer to help with performance in that regard. Maybe there are even some other new installed apps running in the background that could be slowing things down a bit? Also, run a System Scan to verify it that way as well.
Kind regards.
