Anti-tracker and Live Oak Bank Support

Using Chrome fully updated, I go to https://support.liveoak.bank/ and search for "Quick". One of the options offered is "How do I connect QuickBooks to my personal savings account?"

If I select that option with the Bitdefender anti-tracker off, the webpage content changes to provide instructions on how to do what I want.

If I select that option with the Bitdefender anti-tracker on, I do not get the instructions, and the Search button does not reveal the contents either.

Does anyone have any idea which option of anti-tracker is causing this malfunction?

    Hello @BobMeBD

This does occasionally happen with Anti-tracker. I'm not sure of what the exact cause is, as it's a bit to sporadic to know for sure.

See if adding the site into Exceptions helps to resolve it for you. edit: I just tried it from my end with Chrome, and adding the link into, Add current website to the list, did load the QuickBooks instructions while keeping Anti-tracker On.

    Kind regards.

  • Hello @BobMeBD,

To add here, there's a way to find out which part of the anti-tracker is actually preventing the page to be displayed correctly. Click the Bitdefender Anti-tracker extension on the browser toolbar, then click on each category from the list and select Disable blocking for these categories:

    • Advertising
    • Site Analytics
    • Customer Interaction
    • Social Media
    • Essential

If the page works fine after disabling all these five categories, re-enable just one at a time in order to identify the culprit.

If the issue persists after disabling these trackers categories, re-enable all of them. Then click the cogwheel from the Bitdefender Anti-tracker extension and Add the current website to the list of Exceptions, as recommended by @Scott above.

The extension also detects essential trackers which are used to monitor critical webpage functionalities, so it may block them and this could affect the behavior or functionality of the page you are accessing. For more information on the Anti-Tracker extension you can visit this article:

I hope the information is useful.
