Can't access a regularly used website
A few months ago i purchased the Total Security Product and now I can not access my Etsy Seller's Site on my home Desktop computer. This happened about a month or so after Etsy's Sellers Platform did some upgrades on the mainframe app. Now the only way i can get into my Etsy Seller's App to work my store is using my mobile phone. I need to update my shop listings, but the dilemma is - is that i need to do it from my desktop and every time that i try to do that it keeps bringing up my seller's page like it is a newly opened shop when that is not the case. I have an established Etsy Shop and since Etsy has no Tech Support phone numbers to reach anyone on their end, i feel like i've been marooned without any support. I am wondering if this software has done some damage to my desktop. Will I need to call an experienced tech and pay a couple thousand dollars to have them come out to my residence ( i work out of my house ) and peel my programming files apart and discern the cause or can someone here help? Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

Hello @RML,
There are a few steps you can try to see if you can fix this yourself. These instructions may help in the event Bitdefender is causing the behavior you are encountering.
First, clear your browser's cache and cookies. Then, try accessing the Etsy Seller's page using a different browser.
The second step would be to temporarily disable the security modules in Bitdefender to see if it allows access to the site. If it does, the software might indeed be blocking certain features or scripts required by Etsy. You can find the guideline on how to temporarily disable Bitdefender protection on Windows here:
If this works, add an exception for the Etsy site as described below:
1. Click Protection on the navigation menu on the Bitdefender interface.
2. In the Online Threat Prevention pane, click on Settings.
3. Click on Manage exceptions
4. Click on + Add an Exception.
5. Type in the corresponding field the name of the website or the IP address you want to add to exceptions.
6. Enable the switch next to Online Threat Prevention.
7. Click Save to save the changes and close the window.
Also, disable any browser extensions that might be interfering with the site. Ad blockers or privacy-focused extensions can sometimes cause issues. If the issue persists, consider reinstalling Bitdefender to reset its settings and rules.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you might want to contact Bitdefender support for further assistance, as previously suggested by Flexx.
Hope this helps.
