When I want to do a full scan it suddenly stops in the middle and doesn't continue after running for hours, how do I solve this?

    Hello,

    That could happen for a number of reasons. First, ensure that no other antivirus or security software is running on your device, as this can cause conflicts with Bitdefender. The second step would be to check if Bitdefender is up-to-date with the latest version. Bitdefender’s most recent version number is 27.0.40.173 and was released on July 9, 2024.     The next step would be to simply restart the device, then try running the full scan again.

    It's also recommended to clear temporary files and cache that might be causing the scan to hang. Here are the steps:

    - Press Win + R, type temp, and press Enter.
    - Delete all files in the folder that opens.
    - Repeat the process for %temp% and prefetch.

    Furthermore, there's also the option to run the scan in high priority mode, to speed up the process and check if it's completed this way.
