Emails won't send in Outlook

I just installed bitdefender premium security on my computer and my android phone. Emails can be received but will not send. I cleared the email cache on my phone and emails will now send from my phone. I still can not send emails from my computer. What do I need to do to allow emails to send with bitdefender installed.

    Hello @Beth1212,

    I think there can be a number of reasons behind the behavior you are experiencing. The first that crosses my mind is the VPN. Are you actively using a VPN connection when sending emails? Then, it could be the Encrypted web scan feature interfering with the outgoing emails. So, the first step would be to disable the VPN if in use, and if this is not the case, open Bitdefender on your Windows computer and go to Protection → Online Threat Prevention → Settings → temporarily disable the 'Encrypted web scan feature' by setting it to the OFF position.
    If emails can be sent successfully afterwards, or if this doesn't make a difference, I think in both cases it will be necesssary to troubleshoot the behavior more thoroughly, and the Support teams can help you with that.
