Constant Suspicious connections from Chrome.
Constant suspicious connection blocked - Google Chrome.
Just started up my PC after getting home from work. And whenever I opened chrome bitdefender spammed me with this:
Feature:
Online Threat Prevention
chrome.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to www.google.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk.
Add to exceptions
Also got one for translate.googleapis.com.
I just deleted browser history and cookies and it still was doing it. Should I reinstall Chrome? I ran Malwarebytes adware cleaner, nothing came up.
It was fine just last night when I was using it.

Hello @Scoop_112,
Check if this article helps:
Expired certificate to www.google.com is rather unusual, so there might be more steps required to tackle this, but first make sure to reboot your device. There could be an incorrect certificate detection that was previously removed but it's still being detected due to browser cache & cookies, so you could try to see if the notification is triggered when using other browsers as well.
If nothing helps, go to Protection → Online Threat Prevention → Settings → disable the Encrypted Web Scan feature temporarily, to supress the notifications until this can be solved.Let us know how it goes.
