'new device discovered' - what new device??

i keep getting new device discovered pop-ups, with no information on exactly what device is now considered new [p.s. - i have attached no new devices…]. Some information pointing to what the software is talking about would be very helpful. I've checked what little information is available.

It’s possible that this is not limited to your PC hardware only. Chances are, 'new devices' here could refer to any new smartphones or other hardware devices trying to connect to your internet and being successfully connected.

Hello,

Is Bitdefender actually scanning then? Device scanning starts a scan that you can open from the system tray.
You can check what it scans there.
