Is your TV connected through Wifi or through Ethernet to your modem/router?
I have an android TV box and on that one when I connect the TV box to my router through the Ethernet cable I can't connect to any VPN server as well with bitdefender VPN, expressvpn and nordvpn.
But when I connect my android TV box to my router through the Wifi I can connect without issues.

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the Bitdefender product? If you are still facing issues after the reinstallation, this matter will need to be addressed with Bitdefender support. They will ask for logs and assist you in generating them as well.
