VPN not connect on home connection, connects through mobile data

first time this issue has come up. tested vpn on 2 computers, one ethernet and one wifi. issue is on both. vpn tries to connect and times out. connected the computer to the mobile data hotspot and the vpn connected. performed reset on modem. completed all of the suggested tasks on the bitdefender troubleshooting page. am now lost as to what the next step is.

just woke up and magically working. did nothing special to repair it. all fine now thanks
