Inactivity of tabs in a browser generally does not kill or interrupt a VPN connection.

    Here's why:

    • VPN Connection is System-Wide: A VPN connection typically establishes a secure tunnel between your device (computer, phone, etc.) and a remote server. This connection operates at the network level, affecting all traffic from your device.
    • Tabs Are Browser-Specific: Browser tabs handle individual web pages or applications within your browser. Their activity or inactivity has minimal impact on the overall VPN connection

In my case, with Bitdefender VPN enabled, I have the memory saver set to maximum in Google Chrome and other Chromium-based web browsers, and there has been no problem.
