Auto Scan On Resume?

Just recently upgraded from 2010 Anitivirus to 2011 Antivirus, now when my laptop resumes from sleep mode, there is a alert in the notification bar indicating that the system scan was resumed, it does this every time the laptop sits in sleep mode for a while, it was not scanning when it was put in sleep mode.


Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Check the General-->Optimization tab to see if the box is checked to run a scan when the system is idle.


    Here is a screenshot. I unchecked that option on my PCs.

    Please let me know if the issue persist after you uncheck the option that Nikki605 mentioned.
