Scan A Specific File Or Folder

In BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011 how do I scan a specific file or folder?

From the Antivirus -> Virus Scan pane I have tried to add a new task and added a new item e.g. c:\Program Files\****** to

scan folder ******. But when I start scanning all other folders are scanned as well.

Right click on the folder/file and select scan with BitDefender.

If you create a scan task for a folder,BitDefender will first scan the system memory and then continue with the specified path.

Under the Custom Level menu for that task you can modify these settings.
