Reinstallation Of Anti Virus 2011

I purchased this product today and need to reinstall it. I cannot figure out how to do this as when I try to download it again I am told it is already on my PC. Yet I can't find it, and no icons show anywhere. My order number is: 668251, and the activation code I received is:

I have tried to email you through the website using the address given, but the email bounced telling me the address does not exist. Have I been ripped off?

First run the uninstall tool, make sure to restart after it finishes:

Then install BitDefender from:

http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/in...r_antivirus.exe

Are ther still different uninstallers for 32 / 64 bit versions?

Hello lutz,

When downloading the full installer package (247MB) you still need to select the proper version (32/64bit):

On the other hand, the small install package (1.3MB) given above, automatically detects the Windows OS and selects the latest components for download.

I was asking about the unínstaller. Some time ago (last year) there were different download links: .../uninstall and .../uninstall64. But maybe the new uninstaller recognizes the OS?

Didn't see that The uninstaller does the job on both 32 and 64bit OS.
