Running Scans Unscheduled

I tried BitDefender Pro 2011 on a trial license and then bought it a few days ago. During the trial it seemed to work fine, but since I got the subscription it keeps starting full system scans without being told to. Roughly every half hour it starts a scan which virtually brings my system to a halt. I'm obliged to stop it because I need to use my computer. About half an hour later it starts a scan again.


I have a full system scan scheduled to run once a week at night, and I don't want it to run any other time.


Can you please tell me how to fix this problem?

    Hi,

    I do believe that the scans are running because of the option 'Run task Full System scan when system is idle for XX minutes'.

    You can find that option under Optimization tab under General tab (for BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011) and under Tune-Up tab for BitDefender Total Security 2011.

    Please confirm that the issue has been resolved.
