I had to reinstall Bitdefender Internet Security on my laptop and all I could install was 2011 but my key was for 2010, does it not matter what year it is as long as I have time left on the subscription? Any benefit from going from 2010 to 2011?
You are correct, it does not matter what year release. For example, I have one license key for 3 users (PCs). I have 2 PCs running 2011 and a third running 2009, all using the same license key.

It is generally recommended to upgrade to the latest version. This is also the reason why BitDefender 2011 is the only option offered for download.
