Bitdefender And Windows System Restore

Windows system restore is not working with Bitdefender installed and I failed to restore my Laptop at any Restore Point. Upon analyzing, I found that if I uninstalled Bitdefender and then try to restore, it works.
So what the good thing about System restore feature enabled with Bitdefender installed?

Please keep in mind that Microsoft is recommending doing the System Restore in Windows Safe Mode just for the fact of avoiding these types of conflicts between security solutions and the restore process.
What Operating System are you using and what BitDefender product ?0
