[solved] Unscheduled Scan

Was waiting for the machine to start last night, another issue, but when I returned to see whether it was OK or not a System Scan was in progress.

I currently have no regular scans scheduled, see attachment.

Is there any event that will force a scan to occur?

Yes. In Expert View, Click on General-->Optimization. Check to see if the "Run task when system is idle" checkbox is ticked. If it is, un-tick it. That's how I have my PCs set up.
