The update to resolve the compatibility issue between Firefox and the BitDefender Antiphishing has been release. Make sure you have BitDefender updated with the latest updates: right click on BitDefender icon in the system tray and select Update Now. Restart the PC and the issue should be resolved.
Let me know if the issue persist.
I had also the same issue but found that it was some problem in firefox installation. I managed to fix it by uninstalling firefox completely from a uninstaller software and then install its latest version.
Update:
Keep in mind that the update to resolve the compatibility issue was released only for the following languages: EN, DE, EN, FR and NL. For the other languages the update will be release somewhere around October 7.
