Vsserv.exe Hogging All My Memory

I noticed my computer was starting to get buggy and I realized that my RAM usage had went from 27% to 63% usage and when I opened proccess explorer to find the culprit it turns out to be Bitdefender Security Service. BD Internet Security 2011 ran ok for a couple of days and now this. From what I read in the forums there seems to be quite a few bugs with this software. If it keeps running like this for me it's gone. If you have a solution please feel free to fill me in.
I'm using Windows 7 HP 32 bit 4gb RAM
