Virus Scan Causes Bsod

Options

I was having problems with vsserv.exe for BD 2010 crashing on all my computers so I upgraded to 2011. On my pc running XP SP3 I cannot complete a Deep system scan or a Full system scan. Every time I run a scan I get a BSOD and the computer reboots. I only get a BSOD when I run these virus scans and I get it every time I run the scans. I do not have any problems when I run a Quick system scan.

    Hi

What Scanning Options do you set for both scans type, By-default or Custom?

Take snap of BSOD or mention its text to for its occurrence and attach it.

Uncheck one by one the following options to check whether the issue remains or not.

    1)Scan for Rootkits

    2)Scan Registry

    3)Scan Boot Sectors

    4)Scan Memory

Also keep looking on the scan window when you start scan to check on which file the BSOD occur.
