I Cannot Enable Avc.

I have bought and installed bd internet security 2011 recently. After installation I have some problems with activating the components. For example after Enabling the Active Virus Control (in Antivirus Tab, selecting Advanced Settings) and clicking OK it will not be saved. When I check it back it is still disabled. Also, some other changes cannot be saved like this one.


My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, x64.

  • It sounds like BDIS may not have installed properly. Do you have any other security programs installed - antivirus, firewall, anti-malware, etc.? If you do, uninstall them first using the respective company's Uninstall Tool.


    Then, I would recommend that you follow the steps from DanyDan of BD tech support in this post to perform a re-install of BDIS.
